A little boy named Ben and Thomas the Train
Thomas made his way all the way from Sodor Island to Calera, Alabama. I bought our 3 tickets EARLY because there was NO WAY I was letting us miss this. I got tickets for April 14th at noon.
Abby birthday on April 12.

And Ben get's his day on April 14. It worked out so great!!
My mom decided she would help us by keeping Abby. Stroller and a 1 year old at a railway....maybe a bit too much.
We get up and get ready.....it starts raining......and raining. We drive to Calera and the rain just continues. We park and realize we have 1 big umbrella. We look in the back of the car and see a little guy in his Thomas vest and hat. No amount of rain would keep us away!!
When Ben saw Thomas it was like a dream had come true. We had the best time. We took pictures with Thomas. We went in all the different tents. Ben went to story time......he went to meet Sir Topenhat......he went in the gift shop. It was so much fun. We were soaked as we finally boarded Thomas. We rode on the train and watched Ben love every single second.
There are moments when you know you have made your child happy. Then there are days like this......where the amount of happiness can't even be described.
