A "D" Weekend

Marc had a golf weekend in South Carolina.  So, my precious Mom decided to come stay with us.  I love having her here.....because she helps in more ways than 100.  My kiddos love having her here......because who wouldn't want your D here to meet every need and want!!

We played and played.  We watched about 1000 episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  Ben playing inside....outside.....and of course in D's van.  We went to eat at a Mexican Restaurant.  Then strolled and shopped at some of our favorite stores.  Bedtime....schemtime!  When D is here, the rules lax a bit.

She cooks Ben some scrambled eggs at 9 pm......and they eat them sharing a plate watching some late night Mickey.

Sunday morning we get up, have breakfast then pack in the car to see if there are any garage sales around.  I never dreamed I would be doing this with my kiddos, just like she did with me.  A stop by the gas station for an icee for Ben and coffee for us.  We finally head home and play some more.

A beautiful spring day!!  The kiddos played and we had just the greatest time.  She left to head home aka rest around 1.  Marc was home by 2.

 

Marc had a great time on his trip.  He missed us but knew we were all ok.  Ben and Abby were so happy to see their Daddy home.
