Happy 1/2 Year!!!!!!

 
Today is Ben's Happy 1/2 Birthday!!  6 months.....26 weeks........and about a billion kisses later, our little Baby Ben has reached his 1/2 Birthday. 

When I look back at these last 6 months, I see a baby who used to only drink milk and is now enjoying "food" including  cereal, veggies and fruits.  A baby who used to lay quite still with his hands over his head in the bassinet or pack-in-play, is now rolling over to his belly to sleep in his very own bed.  A baby who used to only sleep in increments of 2-3 hours now sleeps 9 plus hours.  A baby who used to only lay on his back is now not just prop sitting but sitting up nice and tall.  A baby who used to play in the bouncer or activity mat is now up and turning around in his exersaucer.  A baby who used to be held to carry, now holds on to his mommy and daddy's shoulder too.  A baby who used to be very quiet now squeals and laughs and screams in delight.  A baby who used to bath on the counter now sits in his blue bathtub and splashes in the water.  A baby who used to not notice his doggies now smiles and reaches to pet them.  And finally, a baby who used to only receive hugs now gives them back. 
So, today, we celebrate Ben and all that he has accomplished in these last months.  We celebrate this precious little one and all that he has given us.  We celebrate everything he is and everything he does.  We celebrate, you, Baby Ben!!!!  Happy 6 Months!!!!!
