Happy 4 Years

4 years ago today, I walked down the aisle and married my best friend.  We had just the most perfect day.  All of the details that we planned came to be and we were surrounded by so many of our most dear family and friends.  We had a wonderful reception and made so many lasting memories.

1st Anniversary, we celebrated with a perfect dinner and the traditional "eating" of the cake topper

2nd Anniversary, we celebrated with a dinner at one of our favorite restaurants

3rd Anniversary, we had a little 7 month old named Ben, so we ordered dinner at the same restaurant....TO GO.  We ate dinner at home with Ben in the bouncer.

Fast forward to tonight.....

Our 4th Anniversary, we now have a 19 month old Ben and a 2 month old Abigail.  We order pizza and cheese sticks (and a 2 liter of Diet Pepsi because I haven't had time to go to the store).  We eat around our table while I feed Abigail a bottle standing and Marc feeds Ben.  We eat 1/2 our meal, before Ben is ready to be finished.  We leave our plates, get him ready for bed.  We finally finish our dinner in front of the TV 1 hr later, while Abigail sleeps in the swing.

Oh, the many differences that have occurred in these last few years.  Our family has grown and we are blessed to be able to celebrate 4 years of marriage with the 2 tiny people that are our heart and soul.  Was our anniversary dinner candlelight and flowers?  No, it was more overhead light and a sippy of milk.

But, there aren't any complaints coming from us.

Here's to 4 years of marriage and all the wonderful chaos that comes with it!!
