Ben's 4 month checkup was this morning. We were so curious to hear what our Baby Ben weighs as well as if we are ready to start baby food. Well, our Ben weighed in a 16.1 lbs and 26.5 in. Just 2 months ago, he was 11 lbs and 22 in. Amazing!! He is 75th percentile in weight and 95th percentile in length....we have future linebacker! Ben has the sweetest doctor. He takes the time to talk to Ben and Ben in his own way talks back. A great report for our growing boy!! Then on to the shots.....four little "Tweety Bird" band aids later, we were done!! Tears were shed from Ben and his mommy!! This has got to be the hardest thing to stand by and watch. So, we can now begin rice cereal followed by slowly starting veggies and fruits. Ben is about to start eating real food. I'm sure this will lead to some pretty hysterical pictures. One more step forward in Ben's world....one bite at a time!
