Last Friday, Ben turned 4 months!! How crazy!! He is growing so fast. Last month, when I took his monthly monkey photo, I had to prop him and hurry to take the picture before he fell into the monkey. This month, my little guy sat up tall and straight. He looked over to the monkey and reached out to it. He managed to hold his balance so that he could put those little fingers in his mouth. He is becoming this little man and I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to sit back and watch it happen. Each month a new sticker is put on a ever growing onesie. And each month, a bigger and stronger Ben is photographed. I am a mixture of happiness and at the same time a bit of sadness. I love that he is growing. I love that he knows me. I love that each day he is experiencing this exciting world for the first time. But, I also know that my little guy is getting bigger. Right when I get a bit sad that the little tiny baby is growing up, I get a giggle or laugh or coo that lets me know that all is right in this world! Every morning, I am now greeted by the biggest smile I have ever seen. 4 months has allowed my little man to know me and somehow, in his own little Benjamin way, show me that even though he is getting bigger, he is still my baby! Happy 4 months, Baby Ben!!
"For what it's worth: it's never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be...And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you're proud of. If you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again." --Benjamin Button
