A few months ago, Ben first met his friend
Peyton. They were so small and new. They couldn't roll and couldn't sit up on their own. They were quiet and made only soft sounds. Well, this afternoon, two squirming, babbling, smiling, drooling, rolling, teething, independent sitting babies played together. They shared toys and at one point even a paci. Lorie and I sat back and watched them in amazement. Time has flown and our babies are growing up. They were much more curious of each other this visit and we would watch as they would stare "longingly" into each other's eyes. We would watch them listen to each other as if they were understanding each other's babbles. Ben would reach out to Peyton and touch her face.....then quickly grab her hair. Peyton would reach out to Ben....then quickly pull his shirt collar. Ben and Peyton entertained us way more than they will ever know. What a fun afternoon!
