Sweetest Gesture

"For such a time as this" we are daily reminded of how many wonderful blessings we have around us.  And yesterday, Ben decided to do something that has melted our hearts.  A few months ago, Ben started reaching toward our cheeks and noses ever so gently.  We would be in the middle of a feeding or rocking/cuddling or playing and if we were close, he would reach that little chubby hand up to our face.  We couldn't believe how sweet this was.  Well, Ben has taken this to a whole new level.  Now, no matter where we are, he will reach a hand up and out.....and all he wants is a touch.  We cannot resist such adorableness so we rush over and touch that hand or give it a kiss.  This weekend, the one hand up turned into 2.  Now as he sits, he reaches as high as those arms will let him and without words, says the sweetest thing...."I need you".  How can you say no to that?  Well, you can't!  He has learned in less that 48 hours how to completely and utterly melt our hearts and bring the biggest smiles to our faces.

This difficult time continues to be made better by our Divine Distraction .  And as we too are reaching up and saying "I need you", we are so very grateful for these bright moments!!
