Farewell, Peg Perego

We have come to the end of an era.  The loyal Peg Perego carseat has been retired and replaced with a convertible car seat that will grow with Ben over the next few years.  The adorable Peg has been with us for almost 7 months.  It has carried Ben home from the hospital after he was born, to the doctor's office for checkups, on countless trips out with his mommy, to/from his B and G's house, to/from his first day at daycare, and around the many laps at the mall.  It has been a place where Ben got the most wonderful naps.  It has carried him home from his first Thanksgiving and first Christmas.  It has been the perfect seat in a restaurant.  It has even riden on a plane.  Our Peg has served us well but Ben has finally outgrown it.
The Safety 1st Air 65 will be Ben's new ride about town.  It is much larger than we expected it to be and was quite the challenge to be installed.  (Especially in the hot Alabama summer heat!).  It will grow with Ben as he rides rear facing then one day be with him when he can ride forward facing.
There have been so many memories made with the Peg......below are some of the greatest!  Farewell, Peg!  And Hello, Air 65!!
