Daddy's Day

This weekend, we celebrated Ben's Dad and Our Dad/Ben's G.  Father's Day has always been something my family prioritizes as a very important day of the year, and this year there it was no different.  If anything, it was even more important.
Marc had his very first Father's Day.  Ben "signed" his Daddy's card with a marker....and with a little help from his Mommy.  He also gave him a beautiful piece of artwork that he did at daycare.  His tiny blue footprints on the heels of a man's shoe.  The precious poem that was attached was just perfect.  It has also found it's place on the refrigerator. Ben's Mommy got his Daddy a few power tools to help with the yard work.  Black and Decker turned out to be the sponsor of his first Father's Day.  Marc is an amazing Dad.  He loves his Ben more than words can say and he is already teaching him so very much.  Not only does Ben look like his Daddy, he is also beginning to act like his Daddy!!

Ben's G celebrated his Father's Day surrounded by his adoring wife, his grateful son, daughter, and son in law, and his cuddly/babbling grandson.  There was so much love in the house that you could almost feel it.  He has been and still is the center of our family.  He is the leader that has guided our decisions.  He is the foundation that has grounded us.  He is the teacher that has taught us.  He is the compass that showed us how to go out into this world while still navigating us in the right direction and instilling in us where Home truly is.  He is our role model.  He is our encouragement.  He is our motivator.  He is our Dad.

Happy Father's Day to Marc!!  And Happy Father's Day to our Dad and Ben's G!!!
