Since the arrival of Ben, there are many words used in our house that have never been used before. The basics like diapers, bottles, formula, paci, and onesie are the most common. But there are two that have become the most popular when it comes to Ben's favorite things. We rarely leave the house without them. They come along side the basics and to Ben are far more important. These two items travel through the house from the living room to the nursery. They even make it to the kitchen at times. One I have mentioned before in a previous post and the other has been around a while but only recently has become a favorite. Sophie, the little giraffe and his taggie blanket are Ben's MOST favorite toys. Sophie is a precious little squeaking giraffe that Ben can hold on to....as well as squeak....as well as chew on. The taggie (made by his "B") is a soft blanket with all sorts of tags attached to the sides that Ben can reach for and then.....chew on. He is perfectly content when these two are around. In fact, today, he was trying to figure out a way to hold them both at the same time. After alot of holding and chewing and playing, he fell asleep with his two most favorite things with him. So, if you are over at the Rosner household, and you hear the words, "Where's Sophie?"....we aren't talking about a neighbor or dog.....we are looking for the tiny giraffe. If you hear, "Where's Ben's taggie?"....just look around for a small blanket surrounded by dozens of ribbons. As our world continues to change and Ben continues to grow.......so will we.......and we will try our best to keep up with him!!
