Happy 6th B'day, Slider!! Happy 8 Months, Ben!!

Today, we celebrate two of our babies birthdays.  Our sweet black lab, Slider turns 6 today.  Slider and I have been through so much together.  We were together before I even met Marc.  She has been my "guard" dog.  She has been my TV watching buddy.  She has been my roomate.  She has been my very first doggy!!  She has also been Shea's older sister.  And this year, she became Ben's oldest sister!  She has the sweetest temperment.  She loves to run and play.  She loves to lick almost anyone and anything (especially after a big drink of water).  She loves her family almost as much as we love her!  Happy 6th Birthday, sweet Slider!!

Today is also the day we celebrate 8 months with our precious little Ben.  This month has been filled with many new thing!  He is able to turn in 360 degress on his belly.....and fast!  He is now able to go from belly to sitting up all on his own!  He is pulling to stand in his crib.....which led to us lowering the crib mattress ALL the way down!  He is eating more and more.....and starting to not like the bottle.....formula is boring.  He is going to sleep all on his own.  He is starting to say "Dada" and "Mama".  He can wave Hello and Goodbye.  He reaches for us with both hands up.  He greets us in the morning sitting up with a smile.  He is getting his 3rd tooth in!  He is eating Puffs for snack.  He is even more the light of our lives!  Happy 8 Months, Baby Ben!!
