He is no longer carried in from the car. He plays in the open area for a bit enjoying the cool afternoon. He sits in the waiting room chair....or should I say chairs as he runs from one to another....climbing up then back down. He walks beside me as the nurse calls his name. No need to be weighed on the little scale....he stands like a big boy on the floor scale. He is measured for height and head circumference and the numbers are much larger than they used to be.

The waiting time between nurse and doctor used to be spent in Mommy's lap...then waddling around the room...then walking.....now we hop, jump and run. He eats goldfish out of a snack bag. He talks about all that is in the room. "table" "paper" "plug" "garbage" "stool" "door" "door stop" "chair" ...etc. He tells me what he wants to do "open door" "Ben holds" "on table"....etc.

Our pediatrician hasn't seen Ben in a few months....so he was greeted by a little boy.....no longer a baby. He watches as Ben jumps and plays....and talks....and talks! He checks him out and says that he is growing and healthy!!
His stats:
32 lbs (75%tile)
36 in (between 75-90%tile)....estimated to be around 6 feet!
Seems not too long ago, we were taking our 1 year old in...now, we have a 2 year old.....a toddler in every single wonderful way!!!
After the dreaded shots....there were 2.....we headed out for a treat. On our way out the door, the nurse gave Ben 2 Thomas the Train stickers. We got in the car, and I took Ben to Target to get a blue icey. He just loves these! We walked around Target as he enjoyed his icey. He waved to the staff and the shoppers. He played with some toys in the toy aisle. He looked at all the different books that were on the bottom shelf. He had the best time. Who needs Disney World when you have a Super Target!!

We head home with a tired 2 year old with a blue dyed face.
Our little guy is getting bigger....and even more fun!!
